long i spelledigh – high, virtually, night, lite, fight, tight, thigh, loftier, right

Game one: Curlicue & Read

This is the simplest game in the pack. Merely impress it and have your students have turns rolling a die, moving forth the path, and reading the words .If they land on a number, they need to go forward or astern that number of spaces.

Simple.

Game 2: Whorl & Read (second version)

In this game, students need to discover the spelling pattern in each give-and-take. Instead of rolling the dice to movement forth the path, they roll a die and check the key at the top of the game and move to the closest discussion with that spelling pattern.

For case, if a child rolls a 2, he should move to a word with -y, such as spy or endeavor.

Game three: Curl & Sort

For this version of the game, impress the game and the recording sheet. Two students tin can employ the same sheet, or you lot tin print ane for each player. Have them take turns rolling the die and moving along the path. When they land on a word, they should read it aloud and write it in the correct column on the recording sheet.

Game 4: Read & Do

This game is for your students who have no trouble reading these words but can utilize extra do with language and writing. When they land on a give-and-take, they cheque the cardinal at the top of the page. If the word is outlined in pink, the kid names a rhyming word. If the discussion is outlined in blue, the child uses the word in a sentence. And if the discussion has a yellow outline, the child writes it on a piece of paper without looking at the game lath for assistance.

My Half dozen wanted to write all the answers, so he created the recording canvas in the above moving-picture show so we could record our rhyming words, sentences, and spellings.

And there y'all have information technology!

One game board that you tin can use in four different means – to meet the needs of all your learners.

Nosotros hope y'all tin apply these no-prep long i games!
